In 2017, we were fortunate enough to begin the task of building our dream home. We chose the builder that we wanted to move forward with and finalized our plans, but as time ticked by, we realized just how stressful the homebuilding process can be without the right builder in your corner. After a while, we came to a conclusion: if we wanted the house of our dreams, we were going to have to build it ourselves. And that’s exactly what we did!
We swore that nobody should have to go through the frustrating and trying experience that we went through building our home, and Observatory Homes was born! We’ve been in the construction business for over 25 years, and the connections we’ve built over those years have given us a leg up over other builders, even those who have been in business for years.

Our Process
Step One
Every journey starts with a single step, and that first step in our process is scheduling an initial consultation. During this initial meeting, we’ll sit down with you to explore your needs, ideas, and vision for your new home, while identifying some of the key features and design elements that will shape your custom build.
Step Two
After we’ve laid out your thoughts, the next step is to lay out a draft of your floor plan. We combine every detail you’d like included in your home to develop your floor plan – including ideas you’ve seen in other homes or other floor plans! With these blueprints in hand, we’ll move forward with designing the exterior of your home and determining a budget tailored to you.
Step Three
Now that your plans and budget are finalized, we’ll give you everything you’ll need to get financing through your chosen financial institution! We take the variables out of the equation for you to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible – even handling all of your building permits for you!
Step Four
Once financing and permits are completed, construction on your home begins! We’re dedicated to sticking to our timetables, putting you into your new home as quickly as possible without unnecessary delays. As construction wraps up, you’ll get the opportunity to inspect your home and ensure the final product is exactly what you envisioned.
